Most people spend 3–5 years "wanting to learn salsa" before they ever take a class.
The ones who finally do? They all say the same thing:
"I wish I'd started sooner."
You go to a wedding. A birthday party. A rooftop bar on a Saturday night.
The salsa music starts. Everyone else moves to the floor.
You stay in your seat.
Not because you don't want to dance. You do. You've wanted to for years.
But you're scared of looking stupid. Scared of stepping on someone's feet. Scared that you're "not a dancer" and that it's too late to become one.
So you watch. Again. And the night ends the same way it always does.
That feeling — that specific mix of wanting to join in and being too embarrassed to try — doesn't get better on its own. It compounds. Every missed dance floor makes the next one harder to step onto.
Until you do something about it.

World Renowned Latin Dance Master
50K+ students taught over the last two decades — from zero experience to social dance floors in weeks, not years.
As a world-renowned Latin dance performer, competitor, instructor, and judge, Josie has performed and taught in over 19 countries and 100 cities worldwide. Her trained eye for movement, technique, styling, and stage presence gives her a rare ability to identify exactly what makes a dancer look confident, polished, and unforgettable.
Curriculum built for non-dancers — not choreography show-offs, not Instagram reels. Real partner dancing. Social dancing. The stuff that works at real parties.
Most dance classes teach you random steps week to week with no rhyme or reason, and without some sort of context or framework, you freeze.
That's why most people quit. Or graduate a class and still can't dance with a stranger at a party. They learned a handful of steps, not a language.
Josie's classes are built differently.
The method is called Josie Neglia's 6-point Salsa & Bachata Formula™ — You learn a small vocabulary or template of moves that connect to each other in order so you always know what to do next. Like learning a sentence structure instead of random words.
When you know the template, you can improvise within that framework. You can adjust to your partner. You can dance with anyone, anywhere, on any floor — without practicing that specific song beforehand.

"I tried 3 other dance schools before this one. At those places I felt stupid and slow. Here I was turning with a partner my first night. I've been coming every week for 7 months."
— Maria T., 38
"My wife dragged me. I complained the whole drive there. Now I'm the one who asks when the next class is. The bachata footwork clicked in week 2 and I've been hooked since."
— David K., 44
"I went to a salsa social after 4 weeks of classes and actually danced with strangers. Real dancing. That felt like a superpower I didn't have 2 months ago."
— Priya S., 29
"I'd been 'meaning to learn salsa' for 15 years. Finally did it. Wish I'd started at 35 instead of 50 — but honestly, better late than never. Josie's teaching style is easy to follow, no fluff."
— Carlos M., 52
Everyone says you have to "feel the music" to be a good dancer. Like rhythm is some genetic gift you either have or don't.
That's not true. And it's kept millions of people off dance floors their whole lives.
Rhythm is a skill. It's learnable. There's a student who came to class last year — Tony, 47, an accountant — who told Josie in week 1 that he had "no sense of rhythm whatsoever."
By week 4 he was leading bachata with a partner and keeping time without thinking about it. Not because he suddenly "felt the music." Because he practiced the same 8-count pattern enough times that his body learned it.
Rhythm is a habit. Habits are built by showing up.
Come to your first class. Do the whole 2-hours. If at the end of that class, you don't feel like you learned something real and want to come back, you pay nothing.
No awkward conversation. No forms to fill. You just say "not for me" and you walk out free. That's the deal.
Group classes are capped at 18 students per session.
Not because it sounds good in a sales letter — because partner rotations stop working when there are more than 18 people in the room. It's a physics problem.
When a session fills, it fills. There's no waitlist that moves quickly. The next opening could be weeks out.

P.S. — Four weeks from now, there's going to be a moment. A party, a bar, a wedding. The music starts. And instead of staying in your seat, you walk onto the floor. That moment is available to you. It just requires one decision today.
P.P.S. — Classes hold 18 students. That's not a negotiating tactic — it's a room-size and rotation reality. When those spots fill, they fill. If you're on this page right now, there's still room. Grab yours →
